UPCOMING ISUZU CLASSIC 2026

The Isuzu Classic 2026, to be held at Mwomboshi Dam, Chisamba will be held from Friday 6th March 2026 to Sunday 8th March 2026.  We have incorporated some changes to the format this year.                                                                                   

Junior Competition and League

The junior league will be used to select juniors that will compete against other countries in the near future. By allowing Juniors to fish in the current classics but providing them a separate opportunity to compete against each other as individuals. This will remove the costs and effort in setting up separate competitions but still provide us with a method of selecting them on fishing merit. This will provide an opportunity for kids to join Zambass, test their skills and introduce them to the safety and competition rules of bass fishing.

Junior Competition Format

Boats that are entering the Isuzu Classic will be allowed to have 3 anglers on each boat (1 Junior and 2 Adults or 2 Juniors and 1 Adult). All juniors will compete as individuals in the junior competition, with separate prizes and points for a Junior AOY and potential Junior COC.

All rules (Safety, fish releases etc) will be as the main overriding comp.
